This Privacy Policy explains how AI Global Assistance LLC (registered in the State of Wyoming, USA, State Entity ID: 2025-001812222), acting as the Data Controller, collects, uses, stores, and protects your data through our mobile application and web platform, in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union and other applicable privacy laws.
1.1. What Data We Collect and the Principle of Data Minimisation
In accordance with the GDPR principle of data minimisation, we collect only the data necessary to provide roadside assistance services:
- Personal data and account: First name, last name, email address, and phone number upon registration.
- Vehicle data: Licence plate, make, model, and year of manufacture (necessary for the performance of the assistance contract).
- Precise location (GPS): Collected exclusively when you request assistance through the app in order to dispatch a tow truck or assistance vehicle to you.
- Technical and diagnostic data: Device information, operating system version, and crash reports to improve system stability.
1.2. Purpose and Legal Basis for Data Processing
We process your data relying on the following legal bases set out in Article 6 of the GDPR:
- Performance of a contract: For processing orders, billing packages, and dispatching a tow truck to your location.
- Explicit Consent: For accessing the GPS location of your device. Consent is freely given and consent boxes are not pre-ticked. You may withdraw your consent at any time in the app settings.
- Legitimate interest: For improving app security, fraud prevention, and system performance analysis.
1.3. Sharing and International Transfer of Data
We do not sell your data to third parties. Data is shared strictly on a need-to-know basis with:
- Operational dispatch centres and tow truck drivers (in order to locate you on the road).
- Partner networks where an intervention is carried out outside the home territory.
- Secure payment processing systems.
As AI Global Assistance LLC is a US-based company, your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Such transfers are carried out using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, ensuring that your data enjoys the same level of protection as within the EU.
1.4. Security and Data Retention
We apply the highest security standards (“Privacy by Design”). All data transmission between the app and our servers is protected by TLS 1.3 encryption, while sensitive data is encrypted in the database. Data is retained (Storage Limitation) only for as long as your account is active or as required by applicable financial transaction regulations.
1.5. Your Rights Under the GDPR
As a user, you have the following rights:
- Right to Access: You may request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification: You have the right to update inaccurate data through your in-app profile.
- Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Our app includes a “Delete Account” feature. Using it permanently deletes your account and all personal data, except for data we are legally obliged to retain.
- Right to Data Portability: You may request your data in a machine-readable format.
